Do you believe in Miracles?

Wikepedia: A miracle is an event attributed to divine intervention. Sometimes an event is also attributed (in part) to a miracle worker, saint, or religious leader. A miracle is sometimes thought of as a perceptible interruption of the laws of nature. Others suggest that God may work with the laws of nature to perform what people perceive as miracles.[1] Theologians say that, with divine providence, God regularly works through created nature yet is free to work without, above, or against it as well.[2]

A miracle is often considered a fortuitous event: compare with an Act of God.

I know many in Western world find it hard to understand or believe that miracles still take place as we do not often SEE them first hand, or indeed regularly witness them. If you lived in Africa, China and India, we are regularly told and do witness these things.

Man Raised From The Dead – YouTube

Last week I shared that I had received a” miracle”, in fact I believe I have received 2-3 in my last 14 years of journey, since finding my relationship with my God. No, it is not like the one above or a physical healing or manifestation. Let me share the circumstances and the process. Since starting  Kingdom Builders in 2004 we have been very clear about the Vision and the Purpose that was given to me.

Even the methodology of “using the net” was given to me and even though I did not understand it at the time, things like we are about to do such as webcasting and podcasts etc., today are common place. As part of the vision I also was shown a building; where many small business’s were working together and there was counselling rooms and prayer rooms and healing taking place and a large space where all the workers and families could gather together.

As usual, I went off to make it happen!!! And, as I have l gradually learnt it is not in my own strength but in HIS and at HIS timing, not mine!!

Many of you would know that over the last months we have been sharing on the principle of MULTIPLCATION. But in order to multiply you have to have a seed, of which we had none but our hands our work and our Faith. Sunday week ago something shifted in our meeting. Monday, I prayed with another business guy called to work among the nations through the ICCC, about how we are to fulfill our God given purpose if we do not have the resources needed.

On Tuesday morning I met with my wife and spent a couple of hours repenting and confessing to each other James 5:16 . ( a big move). On the way to work,  I had two unrelated phone calls from people talking about going to a meeting that afternoon where pastors from differing Churches were meeting together, Baptists, COC, Uniting, small house groups etc. I felt prompted to go.

I went and listened to how people were coming into an understanding of HIS KINGDOM and how it not about church or religion and how they felt called to move into the market place and forget about religious fences!!! Hallelujah I said to myself, this is confirming where and what we have been doing these last years!!!

I prayed with a friend, during the meeting, about calling the resources necessary to fulfil His Vision  that He had given us into the present on this Earth. The next day we had our KBBusiness meeting at night. At the end of the meeting, one person stayed behind and said to me words to this effect: “I believe I am to give this gift into the KB well for the multiplication of the Kingdom” Here is the result!

A miracle indeed. Where do you go from here. The seed is there. It needs to be sown. It needs to die if it has to yield fruit.

  2. Dave says:

Amen! What a blessing! That’s a good seed for sowing, Bro. May that generous person be blessed. A top day for KB. Glad other miracles & favours working in your life.

Wow!! That is a miracle indeed and blessed is the person who was obedient to the Holy Spirit’s call to give. I have goose bumps all over reading this.
    Thank you for sharing John.
That is a great seed. Needless to say the question now is, Lord where do you want that sown?
This will require prayer and careful listening.
This story has just started and see what the good Lord has in store for KB next!
