What is Kingdom Business really all about Steve?

Gal 6:10: Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

All believers whether they realise it or not ARE involved in the business / ministry of Kingdom Life, there are NO exceptions.

Throughout the KB blogs of the last year, it is hoped that you have clearly seen that running a business is a major part of the kingdom of God.

In saying this, it is also hoped, more specifically as we have prayed for you during the ongoing KB meetings that through this you have also realised, seen or been revealed to you in these weekly communications, that the foundational principles of “Babylonian-Style” business (the way that the general world / corporations run business) are indeed OPPOSITE to the “Kingdom of God” business principles.

All Christian efforts to be productive in the world can be categorized as business or ministry.

Some actually own businesses, many of us work at jobs in businesses, singles and married couples also do the business of managing households or families and everyone manages the business of his own personal life.

In the kingdom of God, both ministry and business have exactly the same basic foundational purpose.

However to think about how kingdom business is to be done, we must also prayerfully think, plan and act upon God’s purpose for OUR involvement in business or ministry.

Kingdom Business, being ministry or business is built around the purpose of “Serving God” by providing for the needs of mankind and the world around us.

Kingdom Business is” Caring for God’s people and managing the resources of Gods earth”.

God’s love has to be the motivational force of your kingdom business and ministry, if not, you are operating under the Babylonian-Style” principles instead, and these my fellow readers are rapidly failing daily around the world as we speak, example “America and possibility of defaulting on its debt, Greece, the list goes on and on. It’s only through love that people serve one another.

Gods Love causes us to lay down our lives for our fellow brother / sister/ stranger. Jesus’ love coming alive and acting through and in us will enable us to serve one another. Its only when we become servants and not proud rulers that we keep His commandments to love God and love one another.

Galatians 5:13 …For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love – serve one another.

In Christs Kingdom, ministry and business exist for the primary purpose of meeting needs. The only difference between ministry and business is the type of needs being met.

Ministry generally seeks to meet spiritual needs of people. Business is focused mostly on meeting physical needs. However, there is much overlap and both may meet mental and emotional needs.

All areas of kingdom enterprise are important to God.

The desire to serve others from your heart from Gods love is the foundation of kingdom. Where is your heart at? Where is your business at in this?

  • Just remember that we serve Jesus as we serve mankind by providing for peoples’ needs.
  • We are able to do a good job of providing because love has ordered our lives.
  • Love brings unity and cooperation that enables greater production.
  • We are to do good to all people but especially to the people of God

Gal 6:10: Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
